Few factors have to consider to select a Syringe filter

• Pore size: Based on the application; 0.22 μm for sterilization and 0.45 μm for general particle removal.
• Membrane material: material must be compatible with the solvent or liquid being filtered to avoid degradation or sample contamination. Common materials include PTFE for aggressive solvents, PES for buffers, and PVDF for biological substances.
• Sterile or non-sterile: For aseptic conditions Sterile & for General conditions non-sterile Filters are used.
